Koa is an AKC Blue Merle Mini Australian shepherd with some white and rich copper points. She is 35 lbs and 17 in. tall with a beautiful black mask and mesmerizing blue eyes. Koa has been a part of our lives since she was 9 weeks old. Cassidy, my mother-in-law had her all house trained by the time she was 5 months old. At that time, my husband and I decided to bring Koa into our family as a gaurdian home until she is done being a mom. This way she will always be in her forever home.

Boy did we get more than we bargained for… Koa is super smart, confident, and fast to learn new tricks and try new things. She is highly attentive to our emotions and gives kisses and cuddles when you’re down. Koa is well known for her goofy expressions and ridiculously long tongue that always seems to be sticking out. She is crate trained, but sleeps loose in the house and often sleeps at our feet, waking us up with cuddles and kisses.

Koa knows all the basic commands and tricks like roll, jump, shake, and walks loose leash. She loves car rides and going into businesses to say hi, she is very friendly to anyone she meets, and very well behaved. She loves walks and hikes and will be learning some agility activities soon. Koa loves to play fetch and will even throw the ball back to you! Koa makes some beautiful puppies that are very intelligent! We love her so very much! I would say she’s spoiled but really, we’re the ones who are spoiled!
