What We call home

Love seems to grow exponentially around here. Everything we set our minds to, we do to the fullest. Jesse and I (Cassidy) have been working on our family for 27 years. Right now our family consists of 7 children, some grown some young, 7 dogs and 4 cats. We live in a small Colorado town that sits just below the beautiful Rocky Mountains. We Love to be outside on hikes, bikes, and slopes. Our Dogs are part of our everyday lives. They all have their own personalities and like to do different things. The one thing they all have in common though, is that they want to be by our side.

I am a stay at home mom and wife that loves to have lots of people, pets and plants around to care for and love. Jesse has a home automation and electrical business. The children all play a big part in caring for each other and the pets. We work as a team around here to make sure everyone gets everything they need. We have extensive experience with fostering and adopting children. This experience has proven to be a great advantage to raising and training puppies. The two are not all that different when you care as deeply as we do. Having puppies in the home has been therapeutic to those of us with traumatic backgrounds. Especially since the nurturing and training of both puppies and children go hand in hand. Your puppy will be well socialized to children, other animals, sounds, smells and always, music.

Our Inspiration & Purpose

When I was growing up, there was always a dog or two around for me to love on. My family moved often and every time, it was easier for mom to find a new home for our pets. When I was in fourth grade, I had a blue merle standard collie named China. This one in particularly, was super special to me, so giving her up probably contributed to the abandonment issues that I’ve been working on. All I had ever craved and desired was stability and long-lasting relationships. When China was hit and injured by a car, we could not afford the surgery and had to find her a new home. The vet thought China was a blue merle aussie. Since then, I’ve always been partial to blue merles.

Pip is the first mini Aussie that joined our family. At that time I did not know about breeding standards or genetic testing.  She has been a wonderful companion dog with her low drive, loyalty, and super cuddly personality, but could never win any show titles.  When A friend of mine asked if anyone had doodle puppies for sale, for her friend that wanted to get a dog for his daughter who was allergic to dog hair. I realized Pip crossed with a mini poodle would give this little girl a companion that suited her specific needs.  I then found a good breeder of doodles to mentor me and supply a fantastic sire to my first litter. Those puppies turned out so beautiful and smart. That really inspired me to continue this adventure. After falling in love with the entire process, I bought my own poodle stud, who ended up being the perfect little companion for my own son.

Sammy, who is my 5 year old son, has some high energy/sensory needs. When we got Dio, our Poodle stud, they immediately clicked. Dio has the ability to calm Sammy right down when he’s spiraling out of control. He quickly became Sammy’s best friend and has been so successful in fulfilling his physical and emotional stimulation needs.

I love nurturing and raising everything from plants to dogs to Children. Since starting this adventure we've added three very nice AKC blue merle Aussies to our pack two mid sized and one standard. We are growing our program so that we can continue to serve and support more people, through loyal and loving companions. One of my biggest goals in building this business is to be able to breed and donate therapy and service dogs to people who need them, completely customized to what those needs may be.
