Who’s this little guy?

It was the Fourth of July, and we decided that watching fireworks in the park with all the kids was how we would spend our evening. Before it got dark everyone started filling in the grassy areas next to us. A nice looking couple with a tiny red poodle came and sat next to us. My husband and I looked at each other and said “ wonder what’s up with that little guy?” I immediately introduced myself to them and asked about their dog.

They were very enthusiastic about Teo. He was part of their everyday lives including fireworks in the park. I asked if they had ever thought about breeding him. They thought it would be fun to look into it and see what that would be like. I told them that I had a small hobby breeding business where we took wonderful pets with good genetics and made healthy long living pets for other families. This intrigued them so we traded phone numbers and preceded to get to know each other over the next few months.

I believe that dogs can play a big part is shaping our lives from how we structure our days, what we think about eating healthy, to who we meet and build relationships with. I think having a dog can alter the trajectory of your life. We are excited to see how our relationship and with Teo and his family grows.
